  1. The Context – Career Lift is connected with over 500+ colleges across India and has partnered with over2500+ organizations looking to hire talented and well skilled professionals that have graduated from our Institute. In a day and age when the focus is usually on the educational aspects and not on the actual skills possessed, we are working to change the general mind-set and perspective by helping our students get placed based on their abilities and skills .Your degree not only help you get a foot in the door but not strain and thrive in today’s corporate work environment.
  2. The Practice – On 18 July 2020 competitive exams preparation by career lift is conducted at Arihant campus. Due to pandemic and Covid-19 guidelines we didn’t received much exposure at early stage but later on we succeeded gradually. College also published competitive exams MCQ and booklets, advanced test series, books on computer applications, marketing, reasoning, English, data interpretation, general knowledge, and quantitative aptitude. In college Library we have sufficient quantity of these types of books for the benefit of aspirants preparing for competitive exams and interview at very nominal rate.
  3. Evidence of Success – Some of the students of our college got selected in banking, MPPSC, Forest Dept, MPSI, TET with the help of these books. Institute has undertaken good initiatives related to this in order to prepare students for such exams with the help of career lift.com

6. Problems Encountered and Resources required: The major problem at the initial phase was the poor response from students for availing library facilities due to Pandemic guidelines despite of investing ample amount of fund.

  1. Title of the Practice: Alumni Connect Series
  2. Objectives of the Practice- Alumni relationship is an important part of an institution development. Maintaining a positive relationship with your alumni always helps to uplift the rapport of the institute at the various types of work front. This leads to get improved placement statistics and continuous development in the academic curriculum in terms of industry requirements. This creates a door between Institute and various renowned experienced working professionals which results in knowledge and experience sharing.

Keeping above context in the frame, Institute initiated the Alumni Connect Series on Online platform to give above mentioned advantages to our students even in the period of Pandemic.

  1. The Context – In the period of lockdown while whole of the nation was running on Online Mode, Arihant College also used Online platform for the students to get connected by their reputed alumni and learn from their experiences. A One Week Online Alumni Connect Series was organized by Arihant College. Even alumni of our institute were very excited and keen to get connected with their juniors and old faculties and staff. They even got emotional and joyful while sharing their memories and moments spent in the institute. Alumni from USA, Pune, Punjab, Indore had joined the series. They were really happy while clearing doubts and curiosities of the juniors.
  2. The Practice – A One Week Online Alumni Connect Series was organized by Arihant College on Google Meet Platform from 5th June 2021 to 12th June 2021. Majorly following key areas were stimulated by the speakers during the series-
  • Importance of Personality Development.
  • Current Scenario of Corporate Work Culture.
  • Current Banking Sector
  • US Healthcare System
  • Key Skills Development & Resume Development
  • Various Online Professional Certificate courses for skill development.
  • IT Certificate courses for Development Online Work Culture Skill Sets.
  1. Evidence of Success – Students benefitted were very happy with this activity as they received enormous learning and experiences on Online mode. Around 300 students got benefitted during the whole series. Best feedback received from the students was the demand to conduct alumni connects series in Offline Mode in coming sessions. The students believed in the fact to get more benefitted.
  2. Problems Encountered and Resources required- Basic problem faced during the conduction of series was network issue from the students end which gradually got eradicated as the series proceeded. Few alumni settled in various parts of globe couldn’t become part of the series due to timing and scheduling issues.
